Digiscrappers - Print or PC use?
Posted on September 18th, 2007 @ 10:11 am

I always wonder how everyone else uses their digiscrap kits.  I myself love to make sig tags so I actually use scrap kits for that purpose.  Which is also why I love elements of all kinds.  I also only use them at 72dpi so I have to resize no matter what. I hear alot of people complain that elements are too big or too small and I learned that alphas, for example, should be about 2in x 2in.  Frames I think are pretty varied since it just depends on what look you’re going for on the layout.  I like to make several sizes of those and prefer the larger so that customers would have a choice.

Do you use your kits to actually print? If so what size do you usually print at, the 8×8 or the 12×12? Are 2in x 2in alphas about the size you like?

What theme kit to make next? and what colors?
Posted on September 16th, 2007 @ 9:40 pm

Sitting here wanting to make a fall themed kit.  Not sure if it’s passed the “time” when people actually use those types of kits or not, but I can’t help but feel like fall with the MUCH cooler temperatures here this week !  Much welcomed !  I can just smell the fresh donuts and apple pie at the cider mills !  I know that “fall” and “halloween” have been done so many times, so I’m trying to come up with some “unique” ideas for a kit.

What kinds of elements and colors would you like in an autumn kit?  When do you generally start scrapping for a particular holiday?  Right before, right after or months before hand?

Puuurfect Design Intro

This is my first post on my new blog.  I thought it might be fun to have a blog aimed at digital scrapping since I love it so much.  Maybe we could have some discussions on some of these topics and even some tips or tutorials.  Everyone can share what they like and help each other.
