Open a canvas 600x600. Floodfill with white. Open up your paper or background. If you are using a paper from a scrap kit that is at 300 dpi you will need to resize it. Use these settings: ![]() Copy and paste the paper as a new layer. Select the preset shape tool and find your tk_circle35. Foreground to null and background black drag out your shape. You can use my example tag to get an idea on size. Convert to raster layer. Selections/select all, selections/float, selections/defloat, selections/invert. In the layer palette make sure the paper layer is selected and hit delete once. You can delete the black circle shape layer now, we’re done with it. You should be left with just the paper pattern now in your circle shape. Duplicate this circle shape layer and X out the top copy. Highlight the bottom copy and go to effects/dsb bubbles with these settings: ![]() Open up your element. I used a gem heart. Place it where you want and then if needed take the eraser tool and erase anything that is peeking out from behind where you place the gem. Add a drop shadow to your gem hearts. I used 2, 2, 45, blur 3 and black for the color. X out the paper patterened layer. In the layer palette highlight the dsb bubble layer and duplicate it twice for a total of three layers. Effects/dsb flux/bright noise: intensity 41 and mix checked. X out this layer and highlight the second layer and repeat dsb flux/bright noise but click the text “mix” twice. Repeat for the third layer but click the “mix” three times. Keep this layer active and go to effects/xenofex 2/constellation with these settings: ![]() X out this layer and then repeat on the other two layers. On the second layer repeat effects/xenofex 2/constellation but hit random ONCE and then repeat for the third layer hitting random ONCE. Select your preset shape tool, circle with foreground to null and background to black. Drag out a circle to sit on top of the center circle of your patterned paper shape layer. If you look at my tag for reference you will see a little bit of the red peeking through. Convert to raster layer. Open your tube, copy and paste as a new layer and add a drop shadow. I used 0, 14, 35, blur 12 and black as the color. Select a font you like, foreground white and background black with stroke set at 2 and type out your text. I used the word “exotic” and then I pulled it out to make it a little larger and angled it slightly. Refer to my example tag as reference. Convert to raster layer. Add drop shadow: 2, 2, 45, blur 3 and black for the color. You can use the same font or choose a different one and type out your name. Convert to raster layer and add the same drop shadow. Now, in the layer palette make sure to X out the background layer and the three bubble layers. Merge/merge visible. Your layer palette should have the tube layer on top and then the three layers with the bubble filter and then the background/white layer should be the last layer. X out the second and third bubble layer and then go to edit/copy merged and go to Animation Shop and paste as a new animation. X out the top bubble layer and UN-X the second bubble layer and edit/copy merged and go to Animation Shop and click on the first frame and right-click paste after current frame. Repeat for the third bubble layer. Save as a GIF and you’re all done!! Thank you for doing this tutorial! |
