PSP

Open up a new canvas size 700 x 700. Flood fill with white.

Open up your supplies. For the background color choose something from your tube. I used #f691c1, foreground/null.

Choose preset shape/rectangle tool and draw out a rectangle. You can refer to my example tag for an idea on size. Mine is about 360x440.

Add a new raster layer select a decorative brush and decorate your rectangle. You can also play with the blend modes. Once you get it the way you like it then merge those two layers together. Add a drop shadow: 3, 3, 40, and 5 with black for the color.

You will want to resize the “kinkydot” paper first, then, add it as a new layer to your canvas. Again, you can refer to my example tag to get an idea for the size. Do NOT add drop shadow yet.

Take the “inkedscratch” paper and paste as a new layer. You will want to resize this paper also. I resized at 90% 3 times. Add new raster layer and then you can decorate with the same brushes you used on the background paper. Merge these two layers together and add same drop shadow.

Open the “twilldot” ribbon and paste as a new layer and you will want to resize till it looks good to you. Just make sure the box “resize all layers” is NOT checked.

Once you get the ribbon to the correct size you will need to select your eraser tool and select the square for the size with the hardness at 100 and the opacity at 100, size 100. Now zoom in so you can see and make sure you are on your twilldot layer and hold the eraser over the edge so it will line up with the kinkydot paper and hit delete, like below:

In that picture you can see that I am one pixel over to the right too much. But that way you can see how to line up the eraser brush. Erase anything that hangs over the width of the kinkydot paper.

Open up the metal ribbon slider and add as a new layer. Move into place and add drop shadow: 0, 0, 40 and 5 with black for the color.

X out all the layers EXCEPT the kinkydot paper, inkedscratch paper and the ribbon and slider. Right-click, merge visible. Add drop shadow: 3, 3, 40 and 5 with black for the color.

Copy and paste the “tk-kinky4” word tag onto your canvas as a new layer and place it like mine to the left or where you like. You will want to resize this layer to your liking. There is already a drop shadow on this layer.

Open up the “tk_garvkinky_tag” and paste as a new layer. You will want to resize this layer also. Place it over to the right. Don’t add a drop shadow yet.

Select a font with foreground to null and background to white or a color to match your tube, type in your name. Place it where you like and merge these two layers together.

Choose your pick tool and you should get the vector box surrounding your tag and you can rotate it into place. I just rotated mine a little to the right.

Add a drop shadow: 3, 3, 40 and 5 with black for the color.

Open up your “garv girl” pin and paste as a new layer. Select your pick tool again and just rotate this slightly to the right. Add a drop shadow: 1, 1, 40, 5 and black.

Now to make this look like it’s pinned to the paper. Duplicate this layer and X out one of them. This is just in case we mess something up. =)

Choose your eraser with these settings:

Now erase the part of the pin that is over your text like I did here:

Select your paintbrush tool with these settings:

Add new raster layer and then drag it below the pin layer. Where your pin looks like it is going into the paper click 2 or 3 times to get a good shadow color. You will have to use your artistic eye a bit here for this part. Once the tag is at the finished size this will be tiny so it won’t show every detail. Just make it look good to you. =)

Here is what I ended up with:

When you are done you can delete the extra pin layer.

You can add one of the butterflies to your canvas and add a drop shadow and don’t forget to add your copyright information. If you are using a different tube and you need to recolor the butterfly, go right ahead. It was made by me. Just don’t claim it as your own or change the file name.

Resize your tag.

You’re done! Hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
